Re: Well, I dood it...

As mentioned elsewhere, 2024 F250 SuperDuty, XL trim, 6.8 "Minigodzilla" gasser, 10 speed auto. Offroad package, towing package. Single cab, 8 foot bed.

I bought this truck over the internet based on the build sheet, pictures and the negotiated price. Had I done the deal in person from the start I ...

Well, I dood it...

Been toying with the idea of replacing my 2013 Toyota Tundra for a few months now, but kept choking on the price of new trucks.

The Tundra is still a viable truck, just some cosmetic issues and increasingly frequent (tho relatively minor) mechanical issues. Still, I've got the itch and every other ...

Married too long?

For the last several weeks, I have essentially taken over the cooking and cleanup duties as the wife has been having some medical issues. (She's improving nicely once they figured out the appropriate meds).

We're both on somewhat restricted diets for one reason or another so menu choices are ...

Re: A dead coon story

Speaking of coons...

Years ago...like 40+...I was a young single buck stationed right here in Maine. We had an Ops Boss that was universally hated by officers and enlisted alike. Just a world-class asshole on all fronts.

He went on leave one Summer and left his car parked next to the firehouse on ...

Added a "speeder" to the little section of railroad. Back in the day, they were used to transport crews for track inspection, signal maintenance, checking switches, etc. They've been replaced by pickups or SUVs with hydraulically lowered rail wheels.

I posted the picture on the left of me with the daughter's Akitas on another forum. Some wiseass posted the picture on the right.

Apparently, I was a Japanese Anime Supervillian in some previous life...

Re: I hope this link works for y’all

First - What Red Dave said.

Second - That video is clickbait bullshit. I see a LOT of videos in that vein. Spend a bunch of time farmer-engineering a piece of junk as a substitute for a readily available tool you can buy very reasonably.

JMHO, YMMV, batteries not included.
