Wow! Any idea why he wouldn’t have a radio? (My Dad wouldn’t have a gun in the house, based on combat experience in WW II)
I’m sorry, because we really did have the best music in the 50s, 60s and 70s. Pretty much pales the further you get after that.

Re: What happined
I’ll be blunt and state the obvious: you should see a doctor and not try to figure this out yourself. My Mom had a similar problem, and it turned out there were multiple causes, not a single one. Re: Little modeling project
Gorgeous results, and an interesting post…thank you for sharing it. Sent the link to my 40-something son, who put up a nice Lionel setup the last few years and is interested in the scenery. Said your tree was awesome.

Re: Flooding/landslides in Philippines
NIMBY First I've heard of it. I'll have to Google it and see where it happened. :| ;) Glad you're ok. Here's the most recent of some articles about it, I gather from other articles that the flooding has been going on in southern Philippines for several weeks: https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-682...

Re: Chocolate will not hurt dogs.
I hate to contradict you Gene, but as a dog-lover I have to comment. Chocolate does contain 2 drugs that are toxic to dogs, but the amounts of the poisons in the chocolate itself varies by brand and type of chocolate, and a dangerous dose (measured by concentration of poison in the blood) also varie...
