I believe that if we, as long time neighbors and friends, can’t have intelligent, adult discussions about most anything, including politics, then there’s something wrong somewhere. I don’t have a 572, but I do have a Win model 61, which may be similar so depending on your question, I may be able to help. You may also want to check out this site from a company I have dealt with in the past, who sells reprints of old gun manuals—owners manuals and more detailed technical manuals...

...Of course he's alive, a little under the weather but he said he'd be around as soon as he's out of "lala land" - his words. lol I must have missed that, haven't seen/heard/read anything from him in, literally, years. I do hope he's already feeling better. Sure could use his wisdom here.

Paul, I'm just curious is there's any way for you to tell if all, or any, of the "views" shown for the various messages are Bots, or are actual humans-- registered, or guests-- that are supposedly reading posts? I see posts show literally thousands of views, yet only a single digit number ...

Yeah, Wylie was another great guy gone too soon.
About Paula: I found her old email address in my aol contacts and sure enough it still works. She's doing fine, still teaching a bit and now working with dressage horses. Her Ridgeback dogs are all gone, though...
