Re: Fuel $ in the PI.

About prevalence of EVs in my area-- I am shocked at how many Tesla's I see on the road. Jim's question about seeing many got me thinking so I have done a quick, un-scientific survey: On my way driving around town, I've counted cars I see driving on the road, and how many are Tesla's. Turns out that...

Agree, 100%.

I'd sure love to have a transporter, though. Wouldn't want it in my living room-- even like a "phone booth" and I had to drive into town to use it would be great!

Re: My first bird dog's first hunt test...2008

Nice! I've never hunted over a dog, I suspect it would be a lot of fun. If you ever get a chance to do it, give it a try. Watching somebody else's good dogs working is fun and awe-inspiring. Hunting over your own dog is one of two different things: either the most fun you can have with your clothes...

My first bird dog's first hunt test...2008

Ran across these pictures by accident, I'm surprised they're still up on the web. Molly, who was a few months old in these pictures, was just learning her craft when I enrolled her in this NAVHDA natural abilities test in April of 2008. There was a professional photographer there who took these pict...

What a great story. You are very lucky to have that wonderful family heirloom. I hope you take it out once in awhile and give it a little workout.

Thanks for telling us the story.

Re: Any experience with audiobooks for handicapped?

Thanks, Gene. I’m sorry to report the friend I was asking for passed away earlier this week. It’s amazing how quickly life changes completely, she was just 65.

Hobson’s Choice, defined

1. an apparently free choice when there is no real alternative.
2. the necessity of accepting one of two or more equally objectionable alternatives.

Seems I am seeing more of these in every facet of life nowadays… :(

Glad I could help. Hope you manage to get your rifle working properly again. I love all of my pumps, there’s just something satisfying about shucking a round, ya know!?!!
