Long story short, Mawteen made it pretty clear that if I bought that truck, no matter WHERE the financing came from, my life would not be worth living for many months (or years...) to come. My only income is SS and Navy Pension, much of which is not taxable. I pay a little at the federal level and haven't made enough to pay state in 4-5 years.

Checking out the video capabilities of the drone. Mostly wanted to be sure there was room enough on the 128GB SD card for a decent video. Didn't take as much space as I'd feared, so I'll do a slower/better/higher one when the leaves come out.

So, on to Plan B: I put the larger of my two motorcycles up for sale. I put a high-ish price on it, if it sells it will cover most of the cost of the truck.

Not gonna dicker, if it doesn't sell at my asking price I'll be just as happy to keep it.

Well, SWMBO decided for me. After (not) sleeping on it, she came up with a litany of "what ifs" and I'm just not willing to deal with the heartburn.

I have (grudging) permission to get it, but I'm rethinking the whole thing. It would put a serious strain on our resources and if anything major went wrong in the next couple of years, it could really bite me on the ass. OTOH, I ain't getting any younger and if I wait for the "perfect" opp...
