More tinkering

Post by Bernie/MA » Sat Oct 05, 2019 11:13 am

I thought I was going to get that steel model of my lift done yesterday. Apparently by dumb luck I got the llinkage right on the wood and tin version so it worked. When I changed it a little trying to make it better, no go. Bolts have to be countersunk so of course I made one on the wrong side. Found out when you try to fix it by CS the other side you end up with a huge hole. Gave up for the day. Waiting for it to warm up. 47 is a little chilly.

Glad to know I'm not the only one. Lay a plan out meticulously, then drill all the holes mirror-image...
