I'm still plugging along. Nothing to say til yesterday when I saw the kidney doc. We agree than I'm better off now than I would be on dialysis. I see another doc in Springfield 2/24 but I don't think I"ll take the chance. The hip can't get any worse and one of the knee replacements is on the way out anyway. Grin and bear it. Thanks for asking.

Good to hear from you. I don't suspect you use the sedgeway much nowadays.

Ah, THERE you are!

I have friends up here that are in the same jam. He has bad hips that they can do nothing more for, she has multiple spine/back issues that are inoperable and all they can do is manage (most of) the pain.

They're in remarkably good spirits or at least act like they are when I'm around. I hope I can keep that positive an attitude when my turn comes.

I was on dialysis for 8 months back in 1990 and part of 91. Then Kidney transplant and still plugging on with the borrowed kidney.

Good luck, Gene

How old were you? I'm 84, still got stuff I want to do. From what I hear I'd not only be tied to the machine but not feel like doing anything.
