You laugh, but a neighbor did that to me.

Trailer trash with a too-small septic tank and NO drain field. Ran an overflow pipe of perforated PVC out of his tank and 25 or 30 feet over on to my land.

And then got pissed when I cut it off at the fence and plugged it...
