Where is everybody?

Post by Bernie/MA » Fri Aug 02, 2019 8:52 am

Baling about 50 bales mulch hay today. Have to truck it 35 miles to buyer. Better than dumping it in the woods. Supossed to be showers most of next week.

I'm here. Just got back from our morning walk.

Getting ready to clear out a section of the drainage ditch in the back field so I can drop a culvert in and make a place to cross with the tractor and mower. Got the local contractor bringing me a couple yards of bank run gravel for backfill.

I stopped by and then moved on. got 3 new knives to grind, polish, and put handles on (not gonna happen all today, but, I'm retired so I don't even wear a watch anymore because time don't mean much anymore. I work when I want, and 'nap when I get tired.

I'm here, but swamped...checking in right now instead of taking a "smoke break," since I don't smoke.

Going to go over the weekend to the international pen show in Washington DC. We go every year for a few hours, and look at very nice writing implements and stationary and other sort-of related stuff that also show up (like antique watches, for example). I love fountain pens...
