We had almost 2 months of extreme drought, then on July 31 it started raining. We got 6.8" here in about 2 weeks. Really good rains, not too hard. To the east of the Capitol, near the little town of Linn Mo. places got 16-18" Crazy. I am sure it is climate change, and I should buy an electric tractor or something.

Drought to floods
Re: Drought to floods
We've had a much wetter than normal Spring and Summer.
Nothing extreme, but rain about 3 days a week, lots of clouds and fog and generally damp.
I can't remember the last time we had 3 consecutive days of nice weather. It's made keeping the grass under control quite a challenge. In fact, there's a spot behind the barn I haven't been able to mow all year!
Pretty sure there's a small spring in there somewhere. If the grandson with the excavator ever gets caught up with his business obligations, we hope to make a small pond there.
