Just curious...
I use AOL for my email, and have done so since the early 90s. Because I still (voluntarily) pay a small monthly fee, I am eligible for "no paid advertising" by using AOL Gold. So before I give it a try, I'm wondering if anybody already uses it, and if so what the downside(s) is/are?? Only reason I'm considering it is that it seems ads are sucking up a pretty large portion of my limited monthly high speed data and if I can make that chunk smaller, I'll be happier.
thanks.
Does anybody use AOL Gold to stop ads?
Re: Does anybody use AOL Gold to stop ads?
No, not familiar with that. I have been getting some kind of Spam thing recently in my e mail. They will send one e mail, but somehow it has about a hundred e mail inside? My e mail county will show 600- 700 unread messages. But I can delete the 8-10 Spam e mails, and they all go away.
Wish I had some kind of Norton, or blocker for my e mail.
