Need to reset the date/time on the camera and see if I can get an idea when it's passing through. Looks to me like it's a little anemic, needs a lead injection.

At a guess, I'd say it's half again as big as the female I got last year.

So I'm just curious, what is your "go to" injector of lead vitamins? You're in a little more built up area than I am, but I'd like to know. It seems I often have the wrong "syringe" in my hand for the patient I'm looking at...shotgun when it's a big patient at 150 yards away, and a .308 when it is a little one at 20 yards.

I do have a combination gun, 20 ga over a .22 Hornet, but the gun itself is too danged heavy to lug around all the time.

I have one .22 Mag injector, but it isn't very accurate and is hit-or-miss beyond about 50 yards. So I use a .22 Hornet for close-in out to about 100 yards. .223 for anything out to 175 yards, which is about my longest shot here (heavy barrel single shot, it'll hit anything out to about 300, I just don't have that much visible range in the hills). For me, shotgun mostly just for fast-moving close targets...I'm still a horrible shotgun shooter, which makes it tough for my poor pointers who love to retrieve feathered things.

That is a bobcat. They are a wild cat, same family as a lynx, can be more than 4 feet long and weigh 40 pounds or more.

If it would stay away from my chickens I'd be happy to let it be, but chickens are such an easy meal for them that they can't resist.
