Yet another Count down

Post by Bkeepr » Wed Nov 06, 2019 10:01 am

I'll be retiring from full-time work on January 5th, so less than 33 work-days left for me. I've got some "use or lose" leave time, but my boss is trying to just convert that time to cash for me so that I work up to my last day.

Retirement is coming a little sooner than I had planned, but it is time now...

I hope yours doesn't get posponed like mine has. Looks like 3 weeks when I finish the antibiotics for possible Lyme.

Well I am very sorry to hear that news about you! It is good, though, that they caught it...I've had two friends who really had hard times with late-diagnosed Lyme disease. I hope they caught yours early, so you can avoid all of the long-lasting evil it can cause.

Its over rated!!!! No vacations. No holidays. No paid time off. Retirement is awful!!

PS. I just got back from western Kansas pheasant hunting. Retirement really is ok.
