He turned 60 January 24. Hadn't been feeling good for a while. Waited till end of hunting season to get checked out. Oldest brother and myself went with him to have his bronchial probe done. Having issues with shortness of breath and coughing up blood. Daignosed with stage 4 suaqmis cell carcimnoma. Forgive the spelling. This was the first of Feburary. Oncologist went deeper and identified it as( in their words )stage 4 non name squamis cell carcanoma. Told me and my oldest brother to look it up in several sites on the web. There is only us 3 boys. It did not not look promising on what I saw on any site. Doc suggested chemo. Could be a chance for a longer time. I took him the morning of his first round and he told me he was skeptical about doing it but went through with it. Man it messed him up so bad he spent a week in the hospital getting over some of the side effects. Kept getting weaker. Time rolled around for his 2nd treatment. Developed an odor which was pretty bad. Had the treatment and had been having weight loss. Before all this he was still a robust guy. Weight loss and severe weakness white blood cell bottomed out th e oncologist admitted back into the hospital. Covid shit was firing up so no visitors except in dire circumstances. Long story short he died April 6. So quick and so soon. Still hurting.
