The hard folding tonneau cover (a BakFlip G2) on my Tundra is definitely showing it's age and the rear latch bar came about half undone from the cover last time I opened it.
"Time for a new one" sez I.
Except that they've better than doubled in price since I bought the last one. Over $1000 for a friggin' tonneau cover? I think not.
A drill, some Chicago screws, a little cussing and some creative engineering and it's back in operating condition. Doesn't even look too bad. From a respectful distance...
