Maria's Cancer treatment

She got back from Cebu yesterday morning after she had the latest visit to the cancer specialist in Cebu. The doctor there want her back for an entire month to check for more cancer that may have spread. But as of right now, she is cancer free. All this cancer treatment has left our retirement savings balance at zero. What we did have enough savings to get through to this point. I don't know if you remember, but I talked about not getting any medical assistance in the Philippines without paying for it at first.

Kinda sounds like a "racket" Jim. A month in the hospital to check for cancer? But now she is cancer free. I am not following this.

She's leaving on Sunday for Cebu, but this time's gonna be there for a month as the cancer specialist check to make sure the cancer hasn't spread to any other part of her body. I will keep you guys informed as how that goes. But as of right now, she has cancer free. They told us that the surgery had gotten all of it at least for right now.
