you ought to try again after you have relaxed a bit. It is hard because it must be secure, and because everyone’s situation is different…yours is particularly difficult because you live OCONUS. You can use your cell or landline phone to authenticate, although I learned just last night that you can’t use a phone operating on VOIP (voice over internet protocol). I was helping a friend visiting us from Europe to establish her login.gov account and she uses VOIP so we had to use another work around.

Keep at it— nobody is trying to take your benefits, but they are trying to keep the entire system safe and secure.

The only stateside phone number I have is a Naples Florida, MagicJack number meaning that it is a VoiceOver protocol phone that rings here in the Philippine!

We are not going to move back to the United States because financially we would have to be put on welfare. Maria and myself are not ready to lower our standard of living that far just for the VA. We are already spending $25-$30,000 every year for medical by flying to Seattle. How much are any of you guys spending every year for your medical premiums? And everybody thinks that VA medical is free and I can tell you it sure as hell is not free for me.

15 years ago when I retired here I could get medical treatment here in the Philippines through the VA. Not anymore, thanks to some asshole in Washington DC. They think they know how to run the world and that's why the US have to find war after war in somebody else's Civil War just to make more veterans they can fuck with.

Then when the vet goes postal like Timothy McVay did they hurry up and executing him before anybody in the world finds out who he really is. I think he was an amateur for two major reasons one he didn't realize how big that fucking bomb was and he didn't know that the federal government was hiding behind a nursery right next to where he parked that truck.

Just answer me this. Why do you think so many people in the world hate Americans? I will tell you why because America's
economy is based on the industrial war complex and we have to keep blown shit up and killing American youth just so rich people in America can get richer, building bombs, helicopters, hand grenades, jet planes, you name it all that shit to cause death and destruction.

It would seem that the VA is trying to help folks get into the new system. I hope everyone having troubles uses the extra time to get help.

How can we get extra time when the VA won't even let us sign in?
Here's what I got in an email yesterday or day before. They informed me that everybody that lives in the Philippines. That they're aware of the problem and that we can now use our old sign in process just the same as it was for years and in the past.
It's unusual for the government to admit to a problem like this and actually do something about it. You see it's not my fault or my ignorance. It looks like it's more like the VAs IT people.
