That may have been a tactical error...

There's a flock of a dozen or so wild turkeys that wander through my back yard pretty much daily.
I threw some scratch grain out for them just to see if they were interested.
Now if I go out and they're around, they follow me like puppies until I feed them. Walk pretty much right up to me as long as I don't make any sudden moves.

I'll try to remember to lug the phone around with me. I see them at some point pretty much every day.
How's things going in your part of the world?

On the fence this morning, looking to see if I'd fed them yet.

One hopped on to the shed roof to have a look in the bedroom window, make sure I was up.

Not so good. And most of it is my own fault because I allowed myself to get old. The biggest problem is between my ears. Example; My handyman has been with me for at least 14 years and I forget his name.
Seattle said for me to keep the old hearing aids for back up and that they had been fixed. I tried the back up hearing aids just a little bit ago and only one is working. The reason being it's a VA hearing aid. So I have a fixed old set of hearing aids that don't work, A brand new set of hearing aids that don't work. I can't get them fixed here in the Philippines because they were issued in Seattle. I need to get my naval hernia fixed before it starts, causing me problems and I think it already is. The droop over the right eye is down so far now. If I close the left eye. The right eye only shows me half the picture.
I get so damn angry about my failing health. I start slow throwing shit, slamming doors hard enough to tear them off the hinges and seriously want to smash everything that is electronic with my big 8 pound sledgehammer. My email is not working won't send or receive.
I am seriously having a very tough time with this growing old shit, and seriously, wishing that it would all come to an end. Two of my siblings have already swam across the River Styx.
The far bank of the River Sticks is starting to look very welcoming.

Thank you for your concern. I will work through this shit as I always have in the past. Life hasn't always been ice cream and strawberry shortcake. It's just that sometimes life just seemed to gang up on me. Sometimes the old bad habit of sucking air just doesn't seem to be worth it. But either way, I can't seem to stop that habit regardless of how bad it gets.
The shit typhoons I always seem to create for myself will pass just like it always has and tomorrow will be a sunny hot day here in November. The tropical fruit trees in the yard will continue producing fruit. The jungle around the neighborhood will continue to bring tears to my eyes, knowing that I live in a garden like Eden.

There ya go! Positive attitude counts for a lot. Hard to maintain sometimes tho.
