The Home Board

On the TV show, Swamp People a man says something about a Mother Hum-per. Because it's on TV mother Hum-per is OK. But the word motherfucker is not OK. Both of these terms are exactly the same thing but one is considered vulgar language and therefore not permitted on a TV program. Why do you think that is?
