How can you tell when you're old?

When a 35 year old woman looks like jail bait.
When your last parent dies, and you realize you are next.
When your great grandchildren are graduating from college.
When she's naked and hot and you are not.
When you wake up and realize you're not dreaming.



Go ahead and add to the list. These are just my favorites.

When you bend over to pick something up and look around for something else to do while you're down there.

When all the stuff you hated to do as a child - stay home, miss parties, take naps - are now your goals in life.

When it's easier to list the body parts that DON'T hurt...

When you have to get something done, that requires getting down on the floor, and you survey the situation for several minutes to form a plan on how to best get back up.

No more jumping off of combines and tractors or climbing up and jumping over gates. We use to have a 3 board, white painted fence around our farm house. Going out to the school bus I would vault over that thing like it was the high hurdles in a track meet. Boy, are those days gone.
