If it's Carabel (water buffalo) it has to be ground burger too damn tough to be stake. The steak here comes from either Australia or New Zealand already cut up frozen and then shipped to the Philippine. Haven't had a bad one yet, but I'm not holding my breath either.

Our meat has gone down hill and gotten high as Hell. We tried buying a quarter beef at a time, but had several not so good batches. We have a new local meat shop, but their quality is hit or miss. The best steaks we have had lately have unfortunately been Walmart steaks.

Are you sure those Walmart steaks are not kangaroo steaks? McDonald's don't know the difference.
