My choice for worst movie ever
I was recently reminded of what I consider one of the worst movies of all times— critically acclaimed, winner of many awards, but in my opinion the worst movie ever. Unless you’re looking for a time suck that leaves you wishing you hadn’t wasted any minutes of your precious life watching it: Manchester by the Sea. That’s all I have to say. Anybody care to offer thoughts or alternatives?

I can't begin to count the number of movies I've watched 10 or 15 minutes of, said "Well, this sucks" and bailed out.
There are a few movies where I've powered through and then thought "I can't believe I watched the whole thing." Couldn't name one off the top of my head tho.
There are also movies I've watched and got nearly to the end (and sometimes to the closing credits) before realizing I'd seen it.
And there are a very few that I've watched multiple times and enjoyed every time. Among them are The Final Countdown, Midway, In Harm's Way, Up Periscope (with Kelsey Grammar) Blazing Saddles and Young Frankenstein.

Tammy had a childhood habit of watching corny, horror movies. When we were in Central Mo. our TV provider carried Svengoolie, and each Saturday evening they featured some old horror movies. We can't get Svengoolie down here, even though I put up an antenna, and we drew in like 19 channels. But for some reason the Springfield Mo. station that is supposed to have ME TV, the network that carries Svengoolie, we are not pulling it in. I think I need a "real" antenna, the big silver aluminum kind, not the new fancy loop and little fold out arm thingy. Anyway, we can get plenty of cheesy movies on the Tubi station, and its free, if you dont mind 10 minutes of movie, and 12 minutes of adds.
Now some aint too shabby, the Lon Chenny Jr. and Vincent Price onces. Then there are the 1950's "drive in " movies, where the movie was just an excuse to try to get Sally from the Alley into your back seat along with a case of cheap beer.
Glueck beer? Falstaff? Nothing is cheap anymore.

We get Svengoolie (on ME TV) and watch it sometimes. And we have exactly the TV antenna that you need! It brings in about 70 or 80 channels (some of which are identical, just from different cities), including some in High Def.
Our antenna is mounted atop a 65 foot tall mast that is attached to the house, and the antenna itself is a big old-fashioned aluminum kind that is about 75' total above ground with a rotator. Our house is surrounded by hills, so we need that height, but with it we draw in strong signal from Washington DC, Baltimore MD, Annapolis MD, Harrisburg PA, Hagerstown Pa and probably some others that I've forgotten. That's handy because if there are thunderstorms in one direction, we just watch from a different city.
I probably already told y'all about the guy who installed it for us, Mr Austin Brandenburg, about 25 years ago now. He turned 80 while he was doing the installation, and was climbing up and down that thing carrying sections like a topsail sailor on a square rig tall ship. He added an amplifier and several filters to screen out interference from the surrounding airports, and shazzam we had TV that was, as he put it, "as clear as cable wants to be." He was quite a character.
I'm not sure what I'll do when the antenna goes, he passed away a few years back and I don't know anyone who does anything similar. I climb up the mask to the 40' level all the time when I want to check on the roof or clean the gutters, but much above that it sways too much for my taste.
