Shouldn't laugh, she got really bruised up. This house had a 24' above ground pool, and a real nice deck. We got the pool all fixed up, it was a mess, with two years of neglect. It is a wonder it cleaned up, but lots of hard work. Anyway, the grandkids have been using it quite a bit. But Tammy hadn't so much as stuck a toe in it. Well the son in law was in the pool with the 8 year old and one of his buddies. Somehow Tammy stepped off the edge of the deck, fell half in the pool, with her leg stuck in the space between the pool and deck. The pool doesn't quite fit the deck there and I have new lumber waiting to fix it. Anyway, the son in law helped her out. No injuries, just bruises. Something to laugh at now.

Tammy took a dip
Re: Tammy took a dip
Glad to hear Tammy is ok. Are you in any hot water for not having fixed that gap between deck and pool?? I mean, c’mon Gene you should have fixed it somehow. At least, that’s what a lot of wives might think…
Re: Tammy took a dip
I know........ These skin cancers are not letting me get in water much. I just finished 20 days of radiation on my left hand, and now am waiting on getting two more taken off by Mohs surgery. I do the one surgery tomorrow, In Springfield, Mo. and the other one the following week. So I will have stitches. Not going to get in the water, and the deck work is in the sun, and the sun just kills me.
I am wearing long sleeved "rash guards" shirts, a big hat, and even light cotton gloves. The gloves are only for when I have radiation.
It had also been 100 degrees for the past several weeks.
I will get to it when it cools off. Hopefully in a few weeks.
Take care, Gene
