Damned Grandkids !!

Grandpa is just not in the same league with this kid. He is 14, 6' 3" and weighs about 240 or so. Really a good kid, but he got me good. He is staying a week with us. About 2 days ago, a smoke detector started doing it low battery "Chirp" thing. So I replaced the one that I thought was the culprit. Now with hearing aids, it can be a challenge, especially if you have several detectors in close proximity. Upstairs I have 3. a smoke, and a combo smoke and CO2 in the one big room, then a smoke alarm outside the door in the stairwell.

So I changed the one, was just getting ready to put up my step stool, and I heard the chirp again. So went and got another battery, actually two batteries as I decided to change em all. So I got the other two done, and was ready to put the stool up again, when "CHIRP" I'm like WTF??
So I go back to the original one thinking I hadn't gotten that battery in correctly, Open the compartment up, look it all over, put it back, climb down, "CHIRP", Sum bitch, what the crap !! Then I look over at the grandson laying on the bed playing with his "Device" and I can see him smirking. I said Brayden, did you do that/? I thought he had figured out to imitate the chirp with his mouth or something. But no!! He googled the sound a smoke detector makes with a dead battery, and was replaying it on his damned device!! He had me climbing ladders, running all over chasing dead smoke detectors. If he wasn't so big I would have whipped his ass!!
