I got a 9 AM appointment at the hospital on Monday. On Thursday. I got two appointments one by telephone and one at the hospital. On Friday at 10:30. I see the primary care doctor on Monday the 30th. We clear this apartment in Northeast Seattle and move into a hotel room next to the airport for 2 days.
On Wednesday the second we get on a nonstop flight from Seattle straight into Manila. On Friday the fourth we will be home on the island of Negroes.
The x-ray taking a week or so ago revealed that the spot on my forehead is what I know it was for the last 45, 50 years, which is shrapnel from way back when I was in the infantry company in Vietnam. The damage to my right hand is not shrapnel, but it is probably high velocity gravel because they said it's not any kind of metal. Don't have the results back from the MRI. I took two days ago that will probably happen on the 27th. When I see the primary doctor for the last time this year.
This last week in Seattle is going to be a busy one, but I will be really glad to be back home.
